The multi-material poly-fabric and waxed cotton Spartan Jacket features a water-resistant treatment and a removable thermal liner for optimized performance in various weather conditions. With CE certified protection and the ability to upgrade to Alpinestars innovative Nucleon back and chest protection the Spartan Jacket provides optimized levels of protection.

Removable thermal liner (80g on body; 60g on sleeves)

Level 1 CE-certified Bio-Light shoulders and elbow protectors

Stylish, well made, functional elbow and shoulder pads without bulk. I have teal color. If you remove the thermal liner, it’s perfect for cool to mildly warm days. I have other jackets that have more bulk (even after removing thermal liner) and can’t be worn on anything but cool or cold days. Once it starts getting cold I’ll just zip the thermal liner back in. Will see how it does in real cold weather. Only con I can think of is that it does not have outer breast zip pocket. But I knew this going in.
